Eight bite-sized marzipan pralines, each enrobed in dark chocolate and presented in a slim gift box. The marzipan is the classic Lübeck recipe Niederegger built its name on — at least 75% finely ground almonds, with sugar and rosewater and very little else, which gives it that dense, almost fudgy texture. At 100g it is the smaller of the two boxes: the one for a host gift, a desk drawer, or something to take along rather than something to put out.
