Made in Sydney, built to outlive you
Solidteknics presses each pan from one sheet of Australian iron. No rivets to work loose, no welds to crack, no coating to wear off. There is nothing on the pan that can fail, which is why the range carries a multi-century warranty.
Iron is not the same as non-stick
An iron pan builds its own non-stick surface as you cook. Solidteknics ships pans pre-seasoned with rice bran oil, so you can use one straight from the box. It gets slicker with every use, and it handles heat no coated pan can touch.

AUS-ION iron pans and skillets
AUS-ION is the core range, made from 2.5mm and 3mm Australian iron. Skillets come in 20cm, 26cm and 30cm. The 26cm suits everyday cooking for two or three. The 30cm handles a family fry up or a whole chicken. Browse all frypans.
Woks
The dual handled wok is 2.5mm iron and does far more than stir fry. It steams, deep fries, braises, smokes and roasts. Iron holds heat better than a thin pressed wok, so the pan does not drop temperature when the food goes in.
Sauteuses and griddles
Sauteuses have deeper sides, which suits frittatas, small roasts and one pan meals. Griddle pans in the same iron give you bar marks and a hard sear indoors.
Quenched finish
Quenched pans arrive already seasoned and ready to use. If you have avoided iron because of the seasoning process, this is where to start.
Looking after a Solidteknics pan
Wash it in hot water with a brush and skip the detergent where you can. Dry it on the heat, then wipe a thin film of oil over the surface. That is the whole routine. Every time you cook with fat, the seasoning gets better.
