Care & Use

• Before first use, remove all labels and packaging, then wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Always use oven gloves when handling hot cookware.
• Use silicone, wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils. Metal utensils may be used with care but should not be scraped against the cooking surface.
• Use the appropriately sized hob ring for even cooking and to help prevent damage to handles and sides.
• Cook on low to medium heat for best results and allow the cookware to heat gradually.
• If higher heat is required, reduce the temperature once the desired heat has been reached.
• Do not slide the cookware across glass cooktops. Always lift when moving.
• Allow the casserole to cool before cleaning.
• For stuck-on food, soak in warm soapy water for 15–20 minutes before washing.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, metal scourers or stiff cleaning brushes.
• Dry thoroughly after washing and store in a dry place.
• Casserole bodies with cast iron or phenolic handles are dishwasher safe, although frequent dishwashing may dull the enamel finish.
• Lids with stainless steel or phenolic knobs are dishwasher safe.
• Lids with gold, iridescent, copper or black nickel knobs should be hand washed to preserve their finish.
