A large oval platter in glossy white, with a lobster laid across it in coral and orange — the shell finely speckled with yellow, flashes of turquoise through the legs and tail fan, a single dark eye, and two long antennae drawn out across the empty white until they run off the edge. The rim is softly irregular rather than machine-true, so the whole thing reads as a piece made by hand rather than pressed. At 44 x 34cm it takes a whole fish, a platter of prawns, or everything that comes out before lunch properly starts.
