If you're looking for a delicious twist on the classic Margarita, try the Pineapple Margarita by Mission District. This recipe combines the tangy and sweet flavours of fresh pineapple with the bold taste of tequila and lime, creating a refreshing and tropical drink that will transport you to a beach paradise.
60ml fresh pineapple juice
30ml freshly squeezed lime juice
45ml quality Tequila blanco
A squeeze of agave syrup to your taste (10ml if you want to measure)
Leaves from pineapple (optional)
Run a slice of lime around the rim of the glass and dip it into a plate of cinnamon sugar to create your cinnamon sugar rim.
Combine the ingredients above for the margarita in a cocktail shaker.
Add ice to your shaker and shake it until the shaker is iced to the touch.
Pour your margarita into your cinnamon sugar rimmed glass with ice.
Garnish your margarita with a lime wedge (we used dehydrated lime in ours but a fresh lime wedge will work just fine) and a couple of pineapple leaves.
