Crafted from robust 3mm gauge material, this 22cm Black Iron Carbon Steel Fry Pan ensures top-notch performance. It can withstand extremely high heat and is compatible with all types of cooktops, including induction.

With its tried-and-tested functional design, featuring a long handle with stainless steel rivets, it's an ideal choice for achieving perfect searing and brazing. Pre-seasoned with vegetable oil for enhanced corrosion resistance, it's designed to deliver lasting quality and durability.

  • Black carbon steel fry pans in 3,0 mm thick material for optimum performance – wok in
  • 2.5 mm body thickness.
  • Proven functional design for professional chefs, restaurants, catering.
  • Sear, braze and deglaze like no other pan.
  • Seasoned for better corrosion resistance with vegetable oil.
  • Long handle in stainless steel with steel rivets.
  • SCANPAN design DNA. Build up carbon as a natural cooking surface.
  • Handwash recommended in hot water only – do not use dishwasher or dishwashing liquid.

 

Care

  • Wash the pan in boiling hot water with a brush. DO NOT USE
  • dishwashing liquid. Dry the pan carefully.
  • Add a few teaspoons of vegetable oil (rapeseed, canola,
  • grapeseed or similar) to the pan and spread with a paper towel.
  • Heat until the pan starts to smoke (seasoning), let it smoke for a
  • few minutes. Make sure to have good ventilation.
  • Put the pan aside to let it cool off enough to wipe off the excess oil
  • with paper towel. The pan has now been “re-seasoned” to create a
  • natural nonstick surface.
  • Wash the pan again in hot water only. DO NOT USE dishwashing
  • liquid.
  • Dry the pan thoroughly and store.
