Perfect for an easy breakfast on the go or post-workout beverage, this tangy smoothie with a blend of berries will cool you down and tickle your taste buds.

Ingredients

1 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen

1/2 banana, chopped

1 cup kefir

1 cup milk or milk alternative

2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Method

    Combine all of the ingredients in the base of a blender and blend on high until smooth.

    Pour the mixture into the GreenPan Frost mixing bowl and cover with the mixing bowl cover.

    Select the Milkshake mode, L2 or L3, depending on your desired consistency. Churn until it turns to Cool and beeps.

    Serve in chilled glasses.

Tips

Like any great smoothie, you can prep the mix ahead of time and keep it in your refrigerator until you’re ready to churn it.


If you’re not a fan of bananas in your smoothie, omit it and up the berries to 1 ½ cups total. Feel free to add in protein powder before blending.
